Introducing AlbanyWeb

When Adam and I first started talking through starting a business together, we were very much driven by offering a useful web design service for yoga teachers and studios.  Establishing a presence online when you are just a small one-person outfit (and really have other things you need to do) is really tough.  We felt we had something to offer to make life a little easier.

So we established Yogawebs, our specialist yoga website design and hosting service.

As we started creating lovely and easy to use websites for people, we found that a 'good karma' website was useful for lots of other small groups and individuals - in and out of health and wellbeing activities.  And we found our client list to be extremely diverse:  yoga teachers, bellringers and even novelists!

So as we were bringing our personal, stress-free online vibe to such a diverse range of people, we began to think about an adjustment to our name, and came up with AlbanyWeb.

Being happily based in Scotland, 'AlbanyWeb' has a nice Scottish resonance to it (not to mention being a reference to our business' street address of Albany Quadrant), and we wanted to stick by our web motif, which for us has overtones of community and connectedness.  So our Yogawebs community is expanding to greet a more diverse one!
